JMS Engineers celebrate 25 years of success with memorable cruise on the Thames

JMS Engineers, a leading provider of Civil and Structural engineering solutions, proudly marked its 25th anniversary on the 24th of June with a grand celebration aboard a scenic cruise along the Thames in London. Company owners,  Anna-Maria & Daniel were joined by more than 50 dedicated team members from JMS, along with their partners, gathered to commemorate this significant milestone in the company’s history.

Since its humble beginnings in a small bedroom, JMS Engineers has experienced remarkable growth and has established itself as a prominent force in the engineering industry. With offices strategically located across the UK, including the North East, East Anglia, Midlands and London, the company’s headquarters proudly resides in Suffolk.

CEO of JMS, Daniel Staines, delivered an inspiring speech during the celebration, reflecting on the company’s journey from its inception to its current position as a trailblazer in the field. He expressed his gratitude on behalf of Anna-Maria & himself to the entire JMS team for their unwavering dedication and emphasised the company’s commitment to excellence.

Daniel said,  “For a quarter of a century, JMS has consistently delivered outstanding engineering solutions that enable our clients to navigate the ever-evolving demands of the industry. We continuously enhance our resources, refine our services, and adapt to meet our clients’ needs.

“This milestone not only signifies JMS Engineers’ 25 years of success but also serves as a testament to the unwavering dedication and hard work of our exceptional team. I take immense pride in our accomplishments and the positive influence we have had on the industry.”

Mark Weston, the Managing Director of JMS Engineers, also addressed the gathering, acknowledging the crucial role played by the company’s employees in their remarkable journey. He commented, “Our success is a direct result of the exceptional talent and dedication of our team members. They are the backbone of JMS Engineers and its subsidiary businesses, and I am grateful for their commitment and passion that have propelled us to new heights.”

JMS has built a reputation for being a family-oriented business that places great importance on the well-being and happiness of its employees. As a testament to this commitment, the company introduced the pioneering “Free Friday” scheme five years ago. Under this initiative, employees enjoy every other Friday off work, resulting in each staff member having over 50 days of annual leave.

This commitment to enhancing the overall wellbeing of its employees has recently earned JMS a place on the shortlist for the prestigious NCE (New Civil Engineer) ‘Best Place to Work Award’ celebrating its outstanding engineering achievements and workplace practices.

With a firm foundation built on quality service, technical expertise, and a focus on employee satisfaction, JMS continues to lead the way in the Civil and Structural engineering sector.
