Ipswich Borough Assets and Brooks and Wood are thrilled to start work on the Lidl development at Anglia Retail Park.
This new store, on the former B&Q garden centre site, is the third Lidl in Ipswich and is expecting to generate a further 40 jobs for local people.
The car park has already been resurfaced and reconfigured to allow the continual use of the park by customers throughout the construction period.
Brooks and Wood are building the shell and core in readiness of Lidl to complete the internal fitout.
Colin Kreidewolf, Chair, Ipswich Borough Assets, says:
“We are excited to be working with Lidl and Brooks and Wood on the construction of the new store, and the prospect of 40 new jobs that this brings to Ipswich.
Anglia Retail Park is gaining in popularity with both shoppers and retailers, but there are still a small number of units available. We are keen to speak with prospective businesses who would like to make the retail park their home.”
