Trivago and Chelsea team up to provide the ultimate fan experience for Suffolk/Norfolk Chelsea supporters

Fans from all across the United Kingdom were given the chance to play in a 5-a-side football tournament on the hallowed turf of Stamford Bridge last weekend (4 June 2022) as metasearch engine provider, trivago and Chelsea football club, combined to put on an unforgettable day of joy, fun and escapism.

Eight official supporters’ clubs, including Oxford, Eastern Blues and Aldershot were carefully selected by trivago due to their unrelenting dedication to Chelsea and were hosted overnight in Chelsea’s Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, much to the delight of the travelling supporters.

The clubs, who fielded a mixed team of all ages, were also given the opportunity to meet Chelsea legends such as Joe Cole, Wayne Bridge, Eidur Gudjohnsen and Claire Rafferty.

Adam Robinson, Eastern Blues Official Chelsea Supporters Club said: “It’s been amazing to play on the pitch at Stamford Bridge and experience what it’s like to being on this side rather than in the stands. Thanks trivago and Chelsea for organising this for the supporters club. It’s nice to be recognised for the effort we put in to follow the team and for that we do outside football in the community”.
