New Mental Health First Aid training dates released

Regional, not for profit training organisation Training For Life has released new training dates for the Mental Health First Aid England accredited, 2-day Adult Mental Health First Aid course.

The details are as follows:

16 & 17 September in central Ipswich….09.00 – 17.00

11 & 12 October in central Ipswich….09.00 – 17.00

In addition, there are just 2 places remaining on the MHFA Adult course on 12 & 13 August in central Ipswich.

What you will get out of the course

  • An in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing
  • Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
  • Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
  • Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
  • Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support – whether that’s self-help resources, through their employer, the NHS, or a mix
