New Mental Health First Aid training dates released

Regional, not for profit training organisation Training For Life has released new training dates for the Mental Health First Aid England accredited, 2-day ADULT Mental Health First Aid course and the 2-day YOUTH MHFA course.
The details are as follows:
31 January & 1 February in central Ipswich….09.00 – 17.00 YOUTH
14 & 15 February in central Ipswich…..09.00 – 17.00 ADULT
21 & 22 March in central Ipswich….09.00 – 17.00 ADULT
What you will get out of the course
- An in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing
- Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
- Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
- Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
- Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support – whether that’s self-help resources, through their employer, the NHS, or a mix
