Provence Gourmet Evening – Thursday 2 July 2026

The Bell Hotel Saxmundham is pleased to announce its next gourmet evening, this time celebrating the food and wine of Provence. Taking place on Thursday 2nd July 2026, the event features a four‑course menu inspired by the region’s sun‑soaked Mediterranean flavours, each course paired with a carefully chosen wine. Tickets are £87.50 per person.

Provence is France’s oldest wine‑producing region, known for its warm climate, wild herbs and distinctive mix of soils. It’s famous for dry rosé, but also produces expressive reds and elegant whites. To guide guests through the pairings, wine expert Charlie Monro from Berkmann’s Wines will be hosting the evening.

The menu has been designed to bring out the relaxed, summery character of Provençal cooking, from fresh coastal dishes to classic countryside favourites.
