Ufford Park MD in the running for IOD East of England Director of the Year

Tarnia Robertson, Managing Director at Ufford Park Woodbridge Hotel, Golf and Spa, is celebrating being selected as a finalist for the Institute of Directors (IOD) East of England Director of the Year in the 2018 Awards.

The awards ceremony takes place on Friday 15 June at the Jockey Club Rooms in Newmarket. The winner of the IOD East of England Director of the Year Award will be automatically entered into the National Director of the Year Award, which will be decided on 18 October 2018 at The Royal Horticultural Halls in London.

Tarnia’s strong leadership and the vision she has for the business make her a strong contender for this award.  In her time as Managing Director, she has broadened Ufford Park’s appeal through an extensive, continuing programme of refurbishment and innovation, including the opening of Congo Rapids Adventure Golf in 2016, making the hotel even more family friendly. Tarnia runs the hotel with passion and a clear vision for its future direction.

Tarnia Robertson took on the role of Managing Director in the business three years ago, when her parents retired. Last year Ufford Park celebrated its 25^th Anniversary and with the second generation now securely at the helm, this family-owned and run business has proven it will continue to go from strength to strength over the next 25 years.
