Ufford Park appoints Conferencing & Events Manager

Ufford Park has appointed Evangeline Wells as Conferencing and Events Manager to manage and promote Weddings, Conference and Team Building facilities and Events, as part of the hotel’s investment to achieve 3-star VisitEngland Gold status.

Evangeline joins Ufford Park with a wealth of experience in various hospitality roles, including wedding management, reservations and housekeeping. She has a BA Honours degree in Hotel Management and was one of the first graduates of the Edge Hotel School at the University of Essex, after completing her student training at Wivenhoe House Hotel. Since graduating in 2014 she has worked in a number of senior roles in hospitality and customer service, working for venues like Wivenhoe House, Gosfield Hall Wedding Venue, Greyfriars in Colchester and Greenwoods Hotel and Spa in Billericay – making her the perfect candidate to take over the Conferencing and Events role at Ufford Park.

She comments: “I am excited to be joining Ufford Park at such an important time in the hotel’s development.  I am currently enjoying working closely with Tarnia, Max and the rest of the team to review and refresh our wedding and events packages. In line with Tarnia’s vision and using my own experience in the industry, I want to ensure that I help boost Ufford Park’s reputation as a popular destination for weddings, events and conferences in Suffolk.”
