New recruit for Gotelee Solicitors Property Team

Alex Butler-Zagni has joined Gotelee Solicitors property team in Ipswich as a commercial and rural property Solicitor.

Alex Butler-Zagni has joined Gotelee Solicitors property team in Ipswich as a commercial and rural property Solicitor.

Alex advises private clients, business organisations and charities on a broad range of commercial and rural property transactions, predominantly involving: sale and purchases; development land; commercial and agricultural tenancies; farm diversification; renewable energy projects; and banking work.

“Alex’s recruitment further strengthens our highly respected and well-established commercial property team and help us to offer an even wider range of services and attract new business, especially in agriculture where we can provide excellent service and value across Suffolk and the broader region”, said Chief Executive Officer Charles Rowett.

Before joining Gotelee Solicitors, Alex developed his expertise at two large regional firms. More recently he has worked out of Sudbury and gained a following of clients around west Suffolk and north Essex.  Prior to that, Alex was the NFU East Anglia Policy Adviser for almost seven years where he gained an excellent technical knowledge of agricultural policy, farming and the food chain.

Alex was Called to the Bar (Barrister) in 2002 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010. Prior to the NFU, Alex gained a wide and diverse number of experiences, including having worked at the Serious Fraud Office and other legal institutions in London. Alex completed a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) in 2005 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association in 2016.
