Job Vacancy: Payroll Assistant

Lovewell Blake is looking for Payroll Assistant (Full or Part Time) to join the busy payroll team. This role can be based in Bury St Edmunds, Ely or Thetford depending on the successful candidate’s location. The role involves liaising with a range of clients to process their payrolls each month.

Job responsibilities will include;

  • Processing and running client payrolls
  • Small amount of CIS returns using Sage Line 50
  • Communicating effectively with clients over the phone and by email
  • Communicating with HMRC
  • Occasional bookkeeping assignments as required

Person Specification;

  • Have experience using payroll software
  • Be competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Be willing to learn and experiment with new software
  • Communicate clearly and effectively
  • Be able to build constructive relationships with other team members
  • Possess a can do attitude and demonstrate confidence in own ability to achieve what is required

This role is available on a full or part time basis over 5 days a week.
