An opportunity has arisen for an experienced accounts assistant to join the Business Service Group within the Lowestoft offices of Lovewell Blake.

Responsibilities for this role will include;

  • Accounts preparation
  • Personal tax
  • Business tax
  • Corporation tax
  • Providing training and support to Trainee’s

 

Person Specification;

  • AAT qualified or equivalent
  • Previous experience within a professional practice environment
  • Have proven experience in the preparation of sole trader, partnership and company accounts to review stage
  • Have a basic knowledge of income and corporation tax
  • Be familiar with Sage Line 50, previous experience of Xero would also be beneficial
  • Confident IT user with previous experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrate a “can do” approach to problem solving
  • Excellent client service skills including the ability to tailor your approach provided depending on the specific client
  • Have the ability to communicate clearly and coherently with clients and colleagues

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary, 21 days holiday per annum, and, after a qualifying period, participation in the life assurance scheme and the group pension scheme.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 8.45am – 5pm with an hour for lunch.
