Hop over to Harwich for fish and flicks

The Pier at Harwich has teamed up with the Electric Palace Cinema to offer pre-show dining or ‘Fish and Flicks’. Beauty And The Beast and The Founder are both showing this May (dates and times below)

The Pier is situated on the quay overlooking the harbour in the heart of Harwich Old Town. The NAVYÄRD Bar & Terrace is open from 8.00 for breakfast and coffee and later becomes a stunning bar with a Gin Library of over 100 gins, cocktails and Cask Marque beers and real ale.

The Pier also has a restaurant on the first floor, which looks out over the harbour and the Stour and Orwell estuaries, open all day from 12 noon until 9.30 (10.00 on Friday and Saturday nights).

The Pier has rooms for those who wish to stay. For those who don’t there’s the Harwich Harbour Foot Ferry which runs from Harwich to Shotley and Felixstowe and operates every day from the 1st April until the end of October and weekends only in November and December.

This year the ferry is running evening sailings on Friday and Saturday nights in July, August and September, due to popular demand.
