Flour & Bean to open new Norwich bakery and coffee house on St Georges Street
Flour & Bean, the Norfolk family run bakery and coffee house, will open its newest site in Norwich on 29th January 2026. The new bakery, located on St Georges Street adjacent to St Andrew’s Hall in the former Expresso unit, marks the brand’s tenth site across the region.
Known for its expert baking heritage, Flour & Bean continues to support traditional skills and local sourcing. Every product is made and baked fresh each day by the company’s team of early rising bakers, who create speciality breads, cakes, pastries, hot savouries and a full range of sandwiches, paninis and breakfast items.
The new Norwich site will offer the full bakery and coffee house experience, alongside a buffet and catering service with local delivery for businesses, events and community gatherings. It will also introduce a small bar offering within the site, serving a considered selection of ales, beers and wines for customers to enjoy.
Rachel Drozd, spokesperson for Flour & Bean, said: “Norwich has always felt like a natural home for us. We’re a Norfolk family business through and through, and everything we do is shaped by our commitment to quality and community. We work with independent suppliers across East Anglia and use the best ingredients we can find. We’re really looking forward to bringing that to St Georges Street and becoming part of everyday life in the city.”
Flour & Bean has always placed local produce and artisan baking at the heart of what it does, helping the business grow across Norfolk. The new Norwich site will follow the same path, giving customers a friendly place to enjoy fresh bakes and coffee prepared with care.
