John Sergeant to headline Suffolk Chamber’s second Prestige Dinner

He’s been pushed around by Margaret Thatcher’s press secretary, was present at Martin Luther King’s ‘I have a dream’ speech and became an unlikely Strictly Come Dancing star. But now John Sergeant is preparing for his most exciting engagement for many years – as the guest speaker at Suffolk Chamber’s next Prestige Dinner on 30 October 2018.

This gold standard gathering will be a three-course, black-tie event and will be held at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall. It looks likely to be even more of a must-attend by Suffolk’s business community than the highly successful inaugural Prestige Dinner in March which saw global finance expert Justin Urquhart-Stewart discuss Brexit, protectionism, the United States under President Trump, growing inequality and cyber security issues.

Amanda Ankin, Suffolk Chamber Operations Director, said “we’re delighted to have booked such a well-known, knowledgeable and entertaining speaker for our second dinner in this new series of events.

“John Sergeant is a household name who has encountered some of the most significant people in politics and entertainment over the last forty years. It promises to be a fascinating evening for everyone present.

“The dinner provides a wonderful opportunity for Suffolk Chamber’s members and their guests to both listen to John Sergeant and to meet fellow movers and shakers.”

Each Prestige Dinner ticket costs £75, but Suffolk Chamber members who book a table for ten, get the tenth place for free.
