IOD launches digital events programme for the east of england

The Institute of Directors has launched a digital events programme for the East of England.

In the “Message from the Chair” David Sales, Chairman of the IoD East of England region says – “Across the IoD in the Enterprising East, we are working to build a strong community of business leaders, who understand the challenges, have access to quality personal and professional development, can offer peer support at that senior level, influence policy that affects our businesses, and who generally help make the East of England a great place to live and work. A great place to stay after university; a great place to start up your business; a great place to grow your business in. Our event schedule provides a range of opportunities for both members and non- members to learn, to connect and also benefit the wider community.

IoD East of England is also delighted to have set up a regional office at The Bradfield Centre on the Cambridge Science Park. IoD members can visit the Lakeside Café and communal working space within the Atrium section of The Bradfield Centre which features complimentary wi-fi and a relaxing outdoor seating area. Find out more about the IoD East of England Hub here

Within the event document you will find details of IoD Mastermind Groups taking place across the East of England. Mastermind Groups bring IoD members together to build strong business relationships, allowing them to share ideas in a constructive environment. These sessions offer a combination of brainstorming, education, peer accountability and support in a group setting to sharpen business and personal skills. The ethos is to provide a positive and informal yet challenging and supportive space to discuss issues that confront directors on a daily basis. The format is simple with introductions and feedback before all members share a summary of topics they would like to discuss.
