Bubble Rush returns to Ipswich for third year

Bubble Rush, is returning to Christchurch Park in Ipswich on Sunday 26 August.  The event is organised by St Elizabeth Hospice and has become a much-loved Summer event.

Whether you’re nine months or ninety years old, this event is fun for the whole family and those taking part can chose to walk, run or dance their way round the 5km course as they’re blasted with colourful, safe, frothy foam.

Natalie Hill, events and challenges fundraiser at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “Bubble Rush has become an incredibly popular event for us and when one ends, we’re always asked when it will be returning.

“This year, we’ll have five different coloured bubble cannons and everyone will get to run round the course twice meaning they all get double bubble for their money and the opportunity to create unique coloured patterns on their Bubble Rush t-shirts, the cost of which is covered by their entry fee. Everyone is then presented with a medal when they cross the course finish line.

“While everyone always has a lot of fun at Bubble Rush, the event does have a serious purpose. All the money raised from the purchase of event tickets and sponsorship will stay in the local area and come directly to the hospice so that we can continue to offer all our services, free of charge, to local people living with a progressive or terminal illness.”

Tickets for the event are now on sale and cost £20 for adults and £8 for children over two years old if purchased before Monday 30 April. Those under two can enjoy the event for free.

For those who are not able to make the event in Ipswich, a further Bubble Rush will also be taking in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday 29 June at Nowton Park.
