Vote to Help Charity Win Crucial Vehicle

Fresh Start New Beginnings (FSNB) needs votes to help the charity, that supports children who have been sexually abused and their families, win an AVIVA Community Fund grant to buy a much needed car. You can vote here.

It is sad that there is even a need for this charity to exist and yet they currently have 174 open cases supporting children. The majority of their referrals come from the Ipswich area, but they see referrals from across Suffolk.

More recently they have seen a growth in the number of referrals from Norfolk. There is no equivalent charity in Norfolk (in fact there are very few equivalent charities across the UK) and FSNB does not want to turn anybody away and so, despite the fact that they receive no funding to work in Norfolk, they take on these cases too. Which means the charity needs to do much more travelling.

The team at FSNB regularly attends events across Suffolk and Norfolk to increase their profile and raise vital funds. This could be at conferences such as University of Suffolk, University of East Anglia and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) to trade shows and county shows such as Suffolk Show, Norfolk Show, Suffolk Dog Day and many other local events. They have had to hire a 7 seat taxi to transport all their equipment to these events – an expense they really cannot afford.

They need your vote to win a grant from the AVIVA Community Fund to buy a suitable vehicle to allow them to continue to expand, raise vital funds and awareness and reach more young people, further afield. You can vote here.
