Mental health charity reveals latest fundraising figures

The Back to Life Community Fund have revealed their latest fundraising figures as they aim to raise in excess of £250,000 to support the work of mental health disability projects in East Anglia.

As part of their efforts organisers have created an illuminated Christmas garden at a property near Pakefield High School. The impressive light display is switched on 4.30pm – 9.30pm each night and donations to the fund are welcomed.

“The aim of the fund is to raise awareness, offer support and provide invaluable assistance to those suffering from much stigmatised illnesses” confirmed founder Paul Hammond, himself a sufferer from Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) since returning from the Horn of Africa famine crisis.

The fundraising campaign is also currently focusing on their charity single, ‘Fractured’, released on 24th November by local band Slick Division and available on Amazon for just 99p. The single has already received airtime on local radio, received great support from SMART Radio and Radio North Sea International and was recently featured on Radio Norfolk BBC Introducing. The band also performed the track live at the switching on of the Lowestoft Christmas lights.

Further information about The Back to Life Community Fund figures and light display can be found on their Facebook page here and the charity single ‘Fractured’ can be purchased from Amazon here.
