Daredevil Molly was left on a real high after taking the plunge for charity

“I was nervous to start with but the skydive was an incredible experience” – fearless Molly is delighted to raise nearly £700 for EACH

Molly Davies a 16-year-old, from Rickinghall, completed a tandem skydive and managed to raise nearly £700 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). Fearless Molly took on the challenge at Beccles Airfield on Saturday, 27th August. “It was an incredible experience,” she said. “I was nervous to start with but it was an amazing feeling and very exciting.

“I loved it and am so pleased to have raised so much for EACH. It’s such a special charity and one I feel proud to support.”

The idea came from her school – Hartismere School, in Eye. Students had the chance to collect sponsorship for their chosen charity and the former county gymnast is already a keen supporter of EACH. She volunteered in the charity’s Diss shop for six months for her bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Molly wore an EACH t-shirt on the day and was supported by mum Lisa, dad Duncan and half-sister Nina. Her first scheduled attempt at a skydive was cancelled because it was too windy.

EACH supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions. It has three hospices – The Nook, near Norwich, The Treehouse, in Ipswich, and Milton, near Cambridge.
