Atkins Gregory’s year of Exponential Growth in 2018

Atkin Gregory reflect on last years successes. The team are celebrating the exponential growth from last year by starting a number of prestigious new contracts, including a multi-site contract with Ridgeons.
Simon Biggs commented, “We are delighted to be working with Ridgeons to deliver contract office and retail cleaning services to thirteen branches across four counties. Like Ridgeons, through years of local service, we know that each area within our region is unique.
As well as the exponential growth, 2018 also brought other successes for Atkins Gregory, with the company being recognised for excellence at the 2018 cleaning industry Golden service Awards.
Simon Biggs explains: “We were shortlisted as a finalist in the 2018 Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards for our delivery in the cleanroom environment at Xaar, Huntingdon, and we have since secured an additional contract with the company. Our contract with Xaar Huntingdon began five years ago, and in that time, we have continued to exceed our service delivery, every year. It is a testament to both the company and our outstanding team of cleaning professionals, that we have now expanded our delivery to Xaar to incorporate their other facility”.
It’s not been all work and no play at Atkins Gregory this year, though. The company sponsored Buckfest Music Festival and continued to raise money for Atkins Gregory’s corporate charity of the year, the Arthur Rank Hospice. This charity supports people in Cambridgeshire who are living with life-limiting illness and those who need end-of-life care.
Fund-raising events included father and daughter team, Atkins Gregory’s Managing Director Simon Biggs and Marketing Executive Lois Biggs. They took part in the Bubble Rush 5k charity challenge at Huntingdon’s Riverside Park, joining more than 900 runners to take part in the foamy challenge despite the sweltering 30 degree temperature. They successfully completed the 5k course in 37 minutes, and raising a grand total of £585 for the hospice.
