Bury St Edmunds-based Treatt plc scoops regional Chamber award

Bury St Edmunds-based global ingredients manufacturer, Treatt plc has scooped a prestigious regional award – and stands a chance of doing the same nationally.

Treatt was a regional winner in the High Growth Business of the Year category in the 2017 business awards run by the British Chambers of Commerce, of which Suffolk Chamber is an accredited member.

The company recently announced that it has met its 2020 business objectives three years ahead of schedule.

Daemmon Reeve, Treatt Group chief executive, received the award from Suffolk Chamber’s chief executive John Dugmore in front of 60 guests at the Chamber’s October networking lunch held at Woodhall Manor on 17 October.

He explains: “Treatt’s profits have increased each year since 2012 and this is the direct result of our focus on culture and employee engagement. It’s been an amazing journey so far and I’m lucky enough to work with a fantastic team of people who are all very focused on the future success of the business.”

John Dugmore added: “Treatt is a great example of the growing Suffolk business success story, based on innovation, expertise and great customer service. The company thoroughly deserves this recognition and I’m hopeful that more success lies ahead.”

Treatt and other regional winners across the various awards categories will now go through to the finals which will be announced at the British Chambers Gala Awards Dinner on Thursday 30 November at The Brewery, London.
