Ufford Park MD wins IOD Award

Ufford Park Woodbridge Hotel, Golf and Spa is celebrating the news that Managing Director, Tarnia Robertson has won the Institute of Directors (IOD) East of England Family Business Director of the Year Awards 2018. Tarnia was presented with her award at a ceremony held on Friday 15 June 2018 at the Jockey Club Rooms in Newmarket which saw a number of local Directors recognised for their achievements.

Tarnia comments, “Winning this award is the icing on the cake for Ufford Park, and recognises the hard work and success of the hotel over the last three years since I took over the running of the business from my parents.  We’ve made some significant changes and improvements throughout Ufford Park, with more to come.  This award recognises the personal and financial investment I’ve made in the business and the efforts of each and every one of my team. I really feel like we can continue to look to the future in the most positive way, knowing the direction we decided to take Ufford Park in was the right one.  I’m very excited about the future of the business and everyone involved and extremely proud too.”

Winning the regional award means that Tarnia will now advance to the finals on Thursday 18 October 2018, at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London. The final shortlist will be announced in July 2018.
