Be part of the Winter Ipswich Weekender!

Ipswich Borough Council invites individuals and organisations to take part in the final Ipswich Weekender of 2023, from 7 – 10 December.  This weekend follows three successful entertainment events for Ipswich residents and visitors, with previous Ipswich Weekender events seeing a combined footfall of 49,000.

This final weekend promises to be packed with seasonal fun. Those interested in being part of this festive event are requested to complete an online expression of interest form for up to £500 to cover costs of an activity over the four days or up to £2,000 to bring a showstopper event on the 9 and 10 December on the Cornhill.

Councillor Neil MacDonald, Ipswich Borough Council Leader, says: “It’s been fantastic to see our Ipswich Weekender events enhance the visitor and community experience, encouraging more people into the town.  We’re looking for individuals or organisations to help transform the Cornhill into a hub of excitement in the lead up to Christmas, providing a range of activities to be enjoyed by all.   The aim for the final weekender of the year is to get everybody in the festive spirit.”

The deadline to submit an expression of interest form is 5pm on Tuesday 31 October 2023.
