Arboretum Tour and Lunch or Afternoon Tea
Embark on a captivating journey through the breathtaking Beale Arboretum at West Lodge Park, led by the knowledgeable Andrew Beale. This exclusive guided tour invites you to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature while enjoying a delightful culinary experience.
Choose between a two-course lunch accompanied by tea or coffee and petits fours from the weekly restaurant menu before the tour or indulge in a traditional English afternoon tea served in the Mary Beale Restaurant afterward. The arboretum tour commences at 2.30pm in the front lounge and concludes around 4.00pm, allowing ample time to explore the enchanting arboretum.
Join us on one of the scheduled dates, including Wednesday 5th July, Thursday 20th July, Tuesday 8th August, Friday 1st September, Tuesday 12th September, and Friday 29th September. Anyone for Gin?
Indulge in an evening of artisan gin tastings and delicious street food at West Lodge Park this summer. In collaboration with local distilleries, including the renowned Foxdenton Estate, we have organised a unique experience to showcase their exceptional gins. Starting at 6pm on Friday 14th July, register at reception and receive your tasting guide along with a voucher for a gin cocktail.
From 7pm, weather permitting, join us on the terrace, where an array of botanical dining experiences awaits. Explore a selection of street food options, perfectly complemented by a gin and rosé bar featuring a delightful range of refreshing concoctions.
You can dine al fresco from our street food menu without any prior booking requirements. Alternatively, you may choose to dine from our menus on our terrace or in the elegant Mary Beale Restaurant.
This evening promises to be a feast for the senses, with exquisite gin tastings, handcrafted cocktails, and a diverse range of culinary delights. DYING TO TELL YOU – It’s 1947 and you are all actors and actresses who have been invited to a party being held to celebrate the resumption of film making at Pinewood Studios after the War. But disaster strikes, so will you crack the code? The evening includes a sparkling wine and canapé reception, three course dinner, coffee and petit fours. Plus a special prize to the best sleuth.
