Lighthouse Women’s Aid the charitable organisation based in Suffolk, providing emotional support to women, young people and children experiencing domestic abuse in their personal or family relationships has released dates for their new training session.

Understanding Coercive Control

Coercive control is a crime, and it is at the heart of Domestic Abuse.

It is a persistent and deliberate pattern of behaviour by an abuser to over a prolonged period of time designed to achieve obedience and create fear, It does not have to be physical abuse.

Coercive Control invades every part of the survivors life and follows them everywhere.
