Fargo Systems appoints Business Development Manager

Global logistics software specialist, Fargo Systems, has appointed Bimal Patel to the role of business development manager as part of its ongoing growth strategy.

Bimal will be responsible for expanding the client database, working with companies keen to discover smarter ways of operating across their supply chains. In addition to providing greater value to Fargo’s customers and partners.

Based in Ipswich, he has over 20 years business development and software experience to draw upon as well as a wealth of commercial knowledge, strengthening the sales team while identifying new market opportunities for Fargo Systems’ transport management software solutions.

Steve Collins, director of Fargo Systems, said: “Once again we found ourselves recruiting as we approached lockdown, resulting in a very different experience for those starting new jobs. Fortunately, it is one that has been embraced with positivity and enthusiasm by Bimal. He has risen to the challenge of starting a new role remotely and thanks to modern technology, he has hit the ground running.”

Bimal, business development manager, adds: “Before lockdown, I was fortunate enough to meet some of my colleagues face to face, the remainder of whom I met virtually.  Already feeling part of the team, I am excited to be joining Fargo Systems at such an exciting time.”

Since its formation in 2002, Fargo Systems has been at the forefront of industry technology, and currently, the company’s team of 23 staff (based across offices in Ipswich and Exeter) works with over 120 ‘live’ customers around the globe.
