Anglia Business Exhibition 2021 will still go ahead with new date

Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA) have announced a new date for ABE2021 following the release of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown restrictions. The exhibition will now take place on Tuesday 7th September 2021 at Trinity Park.

After a difficult year for businesses and in particular, events, the end is now in sight with the vaccine programme well underway and a roadmap that aims for all restrictions to be lifted by 21st June. The new date for ABE allows time for businesses to plan for the event and should mean that the majority of adults will have been vaccinated against COVID-19. All bookings already made will be carried over to the new date.

ISSBA Chair, Graham Barton, said ‘We are really looking forward to this year’s Anglia Business Exhibition. As well as being a chance to bring our region’s businesses together after a difficult time, it will be the 25th anniversary of the exhibition so a double celebration! It will be a fantastic opportunity to really kick start our local economy. We have been incredibly impressed by not only the strength and resilience shown by our business community, but also the mutual support they have offered each other throughout the last year. We are excited to see them all coming together at ABE to push forward into a new future.’

Cllr Colin Kreidewolf, Deputy Member for Economic Development at Ipswich Borough Council, one ABE’s sponsors, said ‘We are very pleased to see this annual event celebrate its 25th anniversary as a premier event showcasing local businesses and entrepreneurs – highlighting the diverse and quality products and services they offer in Ipswich and Suffolk.  The event provides excellent networking opportunities to develop new relationships with other businesses and key executives.  Ipswich Borough Council is proud to continue its longstanding support for this event.’

Over 70% of exhibitor stands have already sold but there are still some stands and sponsor packages available, so it isn’t too late to get involved in what promises to be East Anglia’s most prestigious B2B event this year.
