The Bell Hotel Saxmundham reveals four new boutique rooms as demand continues to rise
The Bell Hotel in Saxmundham, Suffolk, has expanded its boutique accommodation with the addition of four new guest rooms, increasing capacity from ten to fourteen. The development comes in direct response to the hotel’s consistently high occupancy levels and growing demand from visitors looking for a stylish, comfortable base in the heart of coastal Suffolk.
The new rooms; Butley, a spacious double, Deben, a classic double, Blyth, a classic double and Minsmere, a classic twin, continue The Bell’s trademark approach of celebrating the local landscape. Each room is inspired by the Suffolk place from which it takes its name, with colours, textures and finishes drawn from the rivers, heaths and coastline of the surrounding area.
Working once again with Cotton Tree Interiors, the hotel has extended its much praised ‘bring the outside in’ aesthetic. Soft coastal colours, thoughtful design details and layered textures create the contemporary yet warmly inviting atmosphere that has become central to The Bell’s identity. At the same time, work has also been completed on two new staff rooms, further supporting the hotel’s growing team.
Since opening in 2022, The Bell Hotel has earned widespread acclaim for both its design and hospitality. Its exceptional guest feedback has resulted in TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards for the past two years, placing it among the top 10% of hotels worldwide.
Andrew Beale, Managing Director of Beales Hotels and owner of The Bell, said:
“The response to The Bell since we opened has been remarkable, and the demand for rooms has far exceeded our expectations. These new additions allow us to welcome even more guests while staying true to the character and spirit of the hotel. Cotton Tree Interiors have once again created something genuinely special, rooms that feel rooted in Suffolk’s landscape yet offer all the comfort and quality our guests expect. We’re delighted to be growing and continuing to invest in the town and the region.”
