What if technology did what we really want it to…

Glen Abergel, Managing Director of Plural Zone – the specialists in bespoke business software, talks about how his team is bringing a more human face and people-focused approach to an industry that’s seen as somewhat impersonal.

Living the technology dream

Plural Zone is a small and nimble team of multi-skilled programmers with the shared goal of making technology work the way people hope it will. We make people’s jobs easier by making systems talk to each other to streamline business processes, or creating bespoke programmes or software that helps businesses to better serve their customers.

Never lose sight of the people

We recognise that, as software development companies grow larger, they can become unwieldy and less flexible. What’s worse, they can lack the personal vested interest in the success and delight of their clients. For us, every line of code is actually about people. So, while we can talk tech and corporate claptrap with the best of them, we’d rather relate in real-life terms – to our clients, their users, their challenges and their success.

Technology with conscience

We promise honesty and dependability, great code and cost-effective fees. We bring you more than 40 years of industry and technical know-how developing solutions to everything from telecoms and finance to fitness. Whatever your industry, whatever your own level of technological understanding, we promise we’ll talk to you on your level.

The people behind the dream

I became involved in the business about a year ago having known my business partner, David Hersey, for the past 21 years. We actually met when I was playing in a rock group with David’s brother-in-law. David started Plural Zone in 2012 and it has grown from there.

The thing I love about it the most is the fact that we can finally provide the services and ‘one to one’ attention that our clients have been crying out for.

What’s next for Plural Zone?

2018 is going to be a big year for us. We’re focusing on making new connections and getting to know more Suffolk businesses. We’ll be out networking but also looking to expand our team by attracting skillful software developers with a flair for problem solving. We’re also moving into new premises so we can grow our dedicated support team.

There is always a solution to EVERY problem.
