Lloyds landmark in Woodbridge up for auction

Lloyds landmark in Woodbridge up for auction

One of the most striking properties in the centre of Woodbridge is being sold at auction later this month.

The freehold interest in the Lloyds Bank at 8 Thoroughfare is being offered for sale at the Acuitus auction on March 31st with a guide price of £975,000.

The investment currently produces annual rental income of £59,000 from a lease which runs until 2026. It is being sold as a VAT-free investment, and also benefits from a nine-space car park at the rear.

David Margolis of Acuitus comments: “This is a very handsome property in the heart of Woodbridge. Assets let to banks remain popular with investors and this building could have longer term alternative uses”.

The Acuitus auction will take place on March 31st at 1pm and will be broadcast via livestream on the Acuitus website with bidding online, by telephone and by proxy.
