Donnelly Watson floored by record sales in 2019

Ipswich-based carpet and flooring specialist Donnelly Watson is ending the year on a high celebrating record sales, growth and development during 2019.

As well as the addition of three new team members, the company’s showroom has been extended to become three times its original size. For a company that originally started during the recession of 2008, this continued growth over the past 11 years is certainly an achievement to be proud of.

“In what feels like unpredictable times, we’re absolutely thrilled to be able to celebrate another record year,” said Scott Watson, managing director of Donnelly Watson. “We’ve seen an increase in both commercial and domestic sales and the company has also been able to secure additional brands, as well as a partnership with Carpet UK. Looking forward to 2020, we see that growth continuing, as we prepare to purchase two more vans for our fleet while facilitating a further increase in our sales and installation team.”

Donnelly Watson worked with a variety of customers during 2019, including East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), Gressingham Foods and Ipswich Golf Club. It also carried out installations in other commercial premises, such as offices and care homes, as well as various residential properties and new-build developments across East Anglia.
