Atkins Gregory Cleans Up with Contract Wins and Award Recognition

Contract cleaning specialist Atkins Gregory, sister company to Monthind Clean, has been shortlisted for a prestigious national cleaning award. The company has made the final cut in the bi-annual Golden Service Awards, the cleaning industry’s most significant awards.

Following a written submission and site visit, Atkins Gregory has been shortlisted in the manufacturing category for its work in the cleanroom environment, alongside site supervisor, Kerri Pickworth, who has also been nominated for her outstanding contribution.

Simon Biggs, Managing Director at Atkins Gregory said: “2017 has been an exceptional year for the business, and we are delighted to have been recognised by such an eminent industry judging panel. The Cambridge region is seeing exponential growth, particularly in the technology and pharmaceutical sectors, where cleanroom environments are key to operations. We understand the challenges involved and are able to deliver the quality of cleaning solutions required.’

This particular niche has seen Atkins Gregory win a series of new contracts in 2017, including sites at St John’s Innovation Centre and Cambridge Science Park.

‘Growth for Atkins Gregory is great news for business in Cambridge,’ continued Simon. ‘We’re winning business from new and growing businesses, and employing more staff across the region. 2018 looks set to be a great year.’

The awards ceremony, where the overall Golden Service Awards winners will be announced, takes place in London in March 2018.
