Most people would love to learn how to create business videos to get better engagement for their business and aid clear and concise communication with their customers. Happily, Suffolk business people can learn the skills and get the confidence they need with this interactive workshop delivered by Penny Morgan Photography, in partnership with Marley Bird Communications.
The half day practical workshop takes place on Wednesday 8 August at Nowton Court in Bury St Edmunds, with registration from 8.30 for a 9am start. The course will finish at 1pm and is designed to help delegates feel confident when speaking in front of the camera as well as help them understand why ‘what’ they say is just as important as ‘how’ they say it.
Throughout the workshop, delegates will be taken through a series of practical exercises to help them understand how they can best represent their business with clear and concise messaging. They will also learn the art of effective body language and understand how small changes to their presentation style will enable them to engage with their audience effectively.
This is the second video presentation skills workshop run jointly by Penny Morgan Photography and Marley Bird Communications, following a successful event in May.
Speaking about the upcoming workshop, Penny Morgan said: “Our inaugural training session went really well and we have built upon the feedback gained from this to put together a second workshop, incorporating more practical elements and ‘hands-on’ demonstrations to really help our delegates bring the learning to life.”
“We know that for some people, talking in front of camera can be incredibly daunting so we’ve devised our workshop to help teach people the skills they need to appear confidently on camera. We’ll look at how they can use their voice, and what their body language is really saying – by the end of the session, delegates will leave feeling much more confident about creating video content for their business.”
Aisleen Bird, Managing Director of Marley Bird Communications added: “During our last workshop it was clear that, in addition to needing help with the ‘visual’ aspects of getting in front of the camera, many delegates were also unsure of what they should actually ‘say’ on a business video. We’ve therefore included an extended session focusing on the best way to communicate the benefits of your business offering and how to create messages that will truly resonate with chosen audiences.”
The skills learnt within this workshop will not just be applicable to video content, but will help delegates present themselves in the right way, whether pitching for new clients, speaking with potential new customers or participating in a ’60 second’ pitch during a networking event.
The video presentation skills workshop costs just £55 + VAT and takes place on Wednesday 8 August at Nowton Court in Bury St Edmunds, 8.30am – 1pm. Book your place here.
