Award-Winning Suffolk Marketing Agency expands into Midlands

Having recently been named Best Small Integrated Agency at the UK Search Awards and East Anglia’s Best Employer in Digital and Technology, Suffolk-based integrated marketing agency StrategiQ has decided to build on its momentum and extend the vision, values and blueprint developed in its Suffolk office to an additional location in Warwickshire.

With clients across the UK, Europe and the United States, the five-year-old company has been looking into opportunities that would better service current and potential clients whilst maintaining the company’s culture.

“Typically, we have serviced all of our clients from Suffolk, so we hope that having a working team and attractive office space in the Midlands will both strengthen existing relationships and potentially open up new opportunities,” said James Bavington, Director of the Midlands office.

Besides the close proximity to some existing clients, the company also sees the new office as having the potential to unlock the next phase in its recruitment strategy.

“Protecting the brand and the values that we have created within this agency from day one is hugely important to me.” said Andy Smith, Founder and CEO of StrategiQ. “We could make plans to expand our Suffolk office to a three-storey building with 80+ employees, but the sense of unity and shared values would become far harder to maintain at scale.

“Balancing our overall company growth with the Midlands office gives us the opportunity to cast the net wider in terms of recruitment and enhance the talent pool available to us. We are delighted with the team we have developed in Suffolk, and now their skill sets can be further supplemented and enhanced from our new Warwickshire office.”

The Ipswich office currently employs 31 people – an increase of more than 100% in the last two years – with three employees currently based in the Midlands. The company aims to have in the region of 45 people employed across the two locations by the end of 2019.
