polkadotfrog leaps again!

The multi-award-winning Ipswich based recruitment company Spider leapt at the chance to acquire the polkadotfrog brand to strengthen their already successful Online Job Advertising and Specialist Recruitment divisions.

Spider, originally established by Michelle Pollard in 2013 has gone from strength to strength. Initially only offering a low-cost Online Job Advertising model, enabling businesses to advertise their roles on the top-performing job boards for minimal cost.

It was, however, recognised that some companies wanted a more traditional recruitment service for niche roles, in response, Spider created a Specialist Recruitment division in 2019. The division of specialist recruiters have an in-depth knowledge of their field and work with some of East Anglia’s most well-known brands. When Michelle Pollard, Managing Director of Spider heard that polkadotfrog’s brand was available to purchase she knew that this was an opportunity not to missed.

Michelle Pollard (MD of Spider) says: “I’ve always admired the polkadotfrog brand and their values, they were a credible and well-liked recruitment business in the region and I just couldn’t let that go to waste. We had a gap in our offering within commercial and professional recruitment and polkadotfrog filled that perfectly.

“I’m delighted to also have secured the services of Emma Cotton who join me as Recruitment Manager on this amazing journey to integrate the polkadotfrog brand as a division of Spider.”

Emma will be heading up the polkadotfrog brand and it will run alongside the other two divisions, from the same modern offices as Spider in Ipswich. polkadotfrog will recruit permanent, temporary and contract workers in Office Administration, Finance, HR, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Shipping & Logistics.
