Ellisons Solicitors announces senior leadership changes in the Immigration team

Ellisons Solicitors has announced changes to the senior team in the Immigration department. Current Head of Immigration, Graeme Kirk will be retiring as a Partner and as Head of Immigration and taking on the role of Senior Counsel from August.  Partner, Sohan Sidhu will step up to lead the department.

Sohan has practiced immigration law for over 20 years and joined Ellisons as a Partner in 2019 following the merger with Gross and Co. He is mainly based in the Bury St Edmunds office and works across the firm’s Essex and Suffolk patch, and is also available for meetings in our London office.

Sohan specialises in all aspects of immigration law and specialises in providing corporate immigration services including assisting multinational companies with bases in the UK on the transfer of Skilled Workers to the UK.  He represents clients in many sectors including those involved in financial services, pharmaceuticals, professional services and information technology and he also provides advice on all aspects of UK immigration to individual and family clients, including advising high net worth clients applying for the UK Investor Visa.

Speaking on his new role, Sohan Sidhu said: “I am delighted to step up to take on the Head of Immigration role.
