Spider, the Region’s Fixed Fee Web Recruiters, is helping one of the leading business membership organisations in Suffolk to find an Export Documentation Officer based in Ipswich.

The role is to support a busy export documentation and certification department and assist with the development of the employer’s international trade programme and ongoing support for local business.

The Export Documentation Officer is part of a small team that provides services to a wide range of businesses so good customer service is a must, as well as an efficient and conscientious approach. Experience of using databases or CRM systems and raising invoices would be an advantage, along with a good working knowledge of exporting and freight forwarding businesses in Suffolk.

The employer is looking for a meticulous person with an excellent eye for detail and a good working knowledge of export services. Benefits include £20000 – £24000 Per Annum, depending on experience, plus expenses, onsite parking and a healthcare package.

Ideally applicants with have at least two years’ experience working in an export and/or international trade environment as well as sound knowledge and understanding of customs. Experience of using letters of credit, European certificates of origin and processing EUR1, ATR and MED forms is essential. All additional training will be provided on site.
