JOB VACANCY: Customer facing electrical engineer

EO Charging, the fast growing manufacturer of electric vehicle charging points based nr Stowmarket, is looking for a customer facing electrician or electrical engineer who has field experience of installations and fault finding. The position is mainly office based but the person will be expected to attend site as the business requires. A vehicle will be provided for customer visits.

They are looking for a solid technical person who can develop and own the in-house support function and take it to the next level. This person will be required to diagnose standard issues and resolve them and escalate more complex problems to the software developers or hardware engineers.

The ideal candidate would be able to manage a small team, which will encompass our technical and training function, and to deliver installer training days alongside our existing personnel. The person will be required to document all fault reports and build a knowledge library of solutions to enable clear and consistent answers to our customers.

They seek someone who has a good manner with customers and who will manage an efficiently run and organised system which can be scaled as the business grows.
