Flux Trampoline Park Celebrates an Amazing Year

A year ago this month, Suffolk’s first purpose-built trampoline park opened its doors at Cardinal Park, Ipswich.

In the last year, thousands of visitors have bounced, jumped and dived at Flux, with a surprisingly diverse customer range, as founder Frants Steynberg explains: ‘We have daily toddler sessions catering for children as young as 12 months, and a regular number of customers in their seventies and eighties,” he says. “Trampolining is fantastic exercise, but really kind to your joints, so anyone can take part.”

As well as supporting over a hundred local fundraising events, the Flux team has worked closely with the local community to create a programme of activities from fitness classes and parties to school visits assisted sessions for children and adults with additional needs. “We worked with parents, carers and professionals over six months to make sure we got it right,” he says. “The response from everyone has been incredible and we are so grateful for the support we have had. Thanks to the team at Autism & ADHD in Ipswich, we have a trained team and all the resources we need to offer a dedicated service.”

With the school holiday period coming up, the Flux team are ready for a busy summer, and promise an ever better second year. “We have so much going on,” says Frants. “We’re open seven days a week all summer and have launched an extended jump offer so families can come for a two-hour session. It’s a great way to burn energy and have fun.”

“We would like to say a huge thank you to the people who have supported us and made us so welcome in Ipswich.”
