Following a recent AA inspection, Tuddenham Mill, the restaurant and boutique hotel between Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket, has announced it has once again been awarded a coveted three AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence and retained its Four Stars at Silver level for luxury accommodation.
What does it mean to offer three AA rosette dining?
According to the AA; “Outstanding restaurants that achieve standards that demand national recognition well beyond their local area. The cooking will be underpinned by:
“These virtues will tend to be supported by other elements such as intuitive service and a well-chosen wine list. Around 10% of the restaurants/hotels with an AA Rosette have three Rosettes and above.”
The AA Quality Standards are a stringent process that enables customers to rest assured that the establishment they are dining or staying at has met a carefully chosen set of criteria. The AA Hotel Services have been recognising accommodation since 1908 and first introduced the star rating scheme in 1912, recognising and rewarding establishments for the quality and range of their services and facilities.
Chef Patron Lee Bye explains: “To retain our three rosettes and four silver stars demonstrates our dedication to deliver an impeccable guest experience. It is at the heart of everything we do and we are delighted the AA has recognised this once again.
“Our 21 stylish bedrooms, including loft suites and meadow nooks blend contemporary design with luxurious furnishings. And because we’re situated in a stunning, tranquil rural location with easy access to the A14, Tuddenham Mill is popular with foodies seeking a picturesque and sophisticated break.”
With multiple awards for its accommodation, food and wine, it’s a great time to visit Tuddenham Mill.
