Long Melford Swan appoints Carrie Chipperfield

Award-winning pub, the Long Melford Swan has appointed Carrie Chipperfield as its first ever Rooms Manager following a recent expansion and addition of new bedrooms. The Swan now has seven individually styled rooms which offer guests a unique and relaxing stay in the historic market town.

Lorna Pissarro, sales and marketing director said; “Carrie joins the team at Stuart Inns bringing with her a wealth of experience gained in her previous roles at Banham Zoo, St Elizabeth’s Hospice and lastly at Easton Grange Wedding Venue.

“Carrie will be responsible for looking after guests before and during their stay to ensure that they receive the high level of service that the Swan is known for.”

Carrie added; “I am delighted to join the team at the Long Melford Swan. Each of our rooms is very individual and we want to make sure that the experience our guests have is unique to them.”

The Long Melford Swan has been managed by Stuart Inns since August 2011 and has won several awards including Visit England’s ROSE Award (Recognition of Service Excellence) and is listed in prestigious Michelin Eating Out in Pubs 2017 Guide.
