To make sure your website is working hard for your business, you first need to understand the data behind it. Content Marketing & PR Agency, Marley Bird Communications are running a half-day course on Google Analytics for Beginners at the Kesgrave Conference Centre from 9am – 2pm on Tuesday 1st May, to help Suffolk business owners do just that.
During the half-day interactive workshop, delegates will gain a better understanding of what Google Analytics is and how the data can be used to drive business growth, in addition to receiving step by step guidance on setting up their own GA dashboard correctly on the day.
The Google Analytics for Beginners workshop has been developed in partnership with Your Marketing Solutions with the needs of local business owners in mind. Many businesses will have installed a GA tracking code into their website without understanding what it is or how its tracking data can be used.
This practical workshop will take delegates through their own Google Analytics dashboard, demonstrating how they can discover valuable business data such as who is visiting their website, and which webpages are performing the best, followed by practical advice on how to improve their website content in order to turn visitors into customers.
Aisleen Bird, Managing Director of Marley Bird Communications says: “Google Analytics can be an extremely powerful marketing tool, yet a huge number of businesses, particularly small businesses underuse it, simply because they don’t know what they are looking at. Data analytics may sound scary, but it is one of the most beneficial things that any business can do to help drive growth.
“We know that GA training is freely available online but without somebody to guide you, the information can quickly become overwhelming. We have developed this training course to be easy-to-understand, and because each delegate will be logged into their personal GA account, they will walk away with a detailed understanding of what Google can tell them about their business.”
Clive White from Your Marketing Solutions added: “So many businesses have installed the tracking code but have never looked at the data because they are fearful of looking at something that they don’t understand. This workshop is about removing that fear, and empowering local business owners to have the confidence to understand and use this data in a targeted way.”
