“Fasten your seatbelts” for Suffolk Chamber’s Stansted networking event

Martin Lyall, the business change director for London Stansted Airport, will be talking at Suffolk Chamber’s September networking lunch on Tuesday 19 September. Martin will give a detailed account of the growth plans of the region’s international airport – and what that might mean for local businesses.

From 2013 onwards, Martin was responsible for the airport’s £85m capital investment programme to improve the capacity of and facilities at the airport. He is now directing the airport’s next phase of transformation and growth.

According to Rebecca Pascoe, Suffolk Chamber’s events manager “this promises to be one of the most interesting talks in our excellent 2017 schedule of networking events.

“As well as outlining how London Stansted Airport’s plans will boost Suffolk’s connections to international markets and the ease with which inward investors and other visitors can access our county, Martin will be looking at supply chain opportunities. So this is a must-attend event for Suffolk businesses of all sizes and from all sectors.”

London Stansted Airport, owned by MAG, is the fourth largest airport in the UK, serving over 150 destinations and 23 million passengers each year.

Suffolk Chamber’s networking lunch is being held at Finborough Hall, Finborough and starts at 11.30am on Tuesday 19 September. It is being held in conjunction with Stowmarket Chamber of Commerce, which is ‘linked to’ Suffolk chamber.
