Craft morning at Woodbridge Tide Mill puts used wrapping paper to good use after Christmas

On 30th December Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum is hosting a ‘Christmas Craft Morning’ between 10am and 12pm for children aged 3-10. Participants are encouraged to bring their used wrapping paper to transform into works of art.

Normal admission fees apply though, once inside, all activities are free.  Children must be supervised by an adult. Hot drinks will be available to stave off the cold.

Heather Sheehan, Education Coordinator at Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum, explained: “Our craft mornings have grown in popularity and we know how tough it is to keep youngsters occupied over the Christmas holidays.  So, do save your wrapping paper and join the team at The Tide Mill for a morning of craft in a unique venue. Please wrap up warm as the old Mill can be chilly!”

Throughout the winter months Woodbridge Tide Mill remain operational to fulfil its flour orders. As such members of the public are welcome to attend Milling Demos on Sunday 22nd 14:00 – with Thursday 26th 14:00 being the last wheel turning of the year.
