Countdown to the Ipswich Christmas lights switch on!

Hosts for the evening are BBC Radio Suffolk presenters Wayne Bavin and Sarah Lilley who are official media partners for the event

From 23 November, Crown Car Park will stay open later every Thursday until 21 December, with stays after 2pm until 9.30pm costing just £2.50 Monday to Friday thanks to a Festive Thursday offer.

Some tickets remain available for the free Blue Badge drive-thru event on Sunday 3 December, with slots available to book between 6 and 9pm.

Councillor Sophie Connelly, Ipswich Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Culture and Customers, says:

“There’s not long to go now, so the excitement is really building for our Christmas lights switch on event!

With a special performance from the cast of Sleeping Beauty, I really can’t wait to see the town centre illuminated and ready for the festive season!”
