Circus Petite postpone start of Spring Tour

Local business ‘Circus Petite’ are the latest to announce their intentions in light of the Governments latest COVID-19 recommendations.

The creation of of Ipswich-based children’s entertainment company Mr Bean Entertainments, Circus Petite were due to commence their eagerly anticipated Spring Tour in Bury St Edmunds on 26th March.

“Following the recent guidance issued by the Government and out of concern for the health and well-being of our Circus Petite performers our audiences and their families we have taken the decision to rethink the start of the 2020 Spring Tour”, owner Daniel Bean confirmed.

“We were due to visit Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket in the opening stages and these shows will now be postponed. We would love to think that the later shows of the tour, from Walton-on-the-Naze 8th April onwards, will still go ahead but we will obviously closely monitor the situation and update our website and social media nearer the time”.

Circus Petite have confirmed that any tickets already purchased will be valid for any show in 2020 and all pre-bookings will be eligible for a candyfloss/popcorn at the show they attend.

Anyone requiring a refund should contact the box office after the 26th April.

“We have invested and planned carefully for these shows in order to bring a unique and exciting circus to our audiences. We are incredibly disappointed at having to put the tour on hold before it has even begun but thank you all for your support and understanding in these unprecedented times” Daniel concluded.

Updates and ongoing information will be posted on the Circus website and social media.
