Ipswich Regent Theatre Seeks Local Star for Cinderella Role in Christmas Panto

Ipswich Regent Theatre has announced open auditions for the lead role in its upcoming Christmas pantomime, Cinderella, presented by Enchanted Entertainment. This festive production promises a dazzling blend of sparkle, laughter, and family-friendly fun.

Aspiring performers aged 18 and over are invited to audition at the Corn Exchange on Sunday 28 September 2025, from 11am. Auditionees will have the opportunity to showcase one song of their choice and perform selected scenes from the panto script in front of the show’s creative team.

Successful candidates must be available for rehearsals in late November and for all scheduled performances between Friday 12 December and Wednesday 31 December 2025.

Cinderella opens on Friday 12 December and runs through to New Year’s Eve. Theatre-goers are encouraged to book early, especially for peak dates—24, 26, and 31 December—which are already selling fast. Tickets start from £17, with a range of inclusive performances including:

• A British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted show on Sunday 28 December
• A relaxed performance on Monday 29 December
• An adult-only performance on Tuesday 30 December
