Monthind partners with Little Havens Hospice

Monthind Holdings Ltd, the parent company of East Anglia based Monthind Clean and Cambridgeshire based Atkins Gregory, has chosen Little Havens Hospice in Essex, and Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambridge, as its respective charity partners.

The only children’s hospice in the county, Little Havens, and Arthur Rank – an end of life adult hospice – are registered charities and rely on the support of the local communities to continue to offer their much needed services.

Little Havens defines its objectives: “When a family has been told that there’s no cure for their child’s illness, Little Havens Hospice makes the journey as comfortable as possible, controlling pain and medication, offering respite and caring for children at the end of their lives. Our specialist care is free – for as long as is needed – within the family home and at our hospice. We’re a registered charity – not part of the NHS – and receive limited government funding. Our hospice can only exist because of the support and generosity of the community. Together, we’re making every day count.”

Monthind Clean is a proactive fundraiser; organising golf days, completing sponsored challenges and volunteering at charity events.

Richard Redding, Monthind’s Sales Director explains: “Everyone at Monthind gets involved in our fundraising efforts. Many of the events we organise and participate in provide opportunities for us to enhance our team-building strategy, as well as have a lot of fun. Arthur Rank and Little Havens are particularly emotive charities with everyone at the hospices doing an incredible job, giving support and care to families when it’s needed most. Monthind is proud to be associated with both hospices and will work hard over the next twelve months to raise as much money as possible.”
