Long Melford Swan hosted its third Macmillan coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support – and welcomed the biggest turn out yet raising an amazing £1,177 and taking the total fundraising for Macmillan to over £5,000 this year.

Guests enjoyed coffee & canapés with a glass of fizz while retailers from Long Melford, including: Angela, Eve St. Clair, Nutmeg and Hall Street put on an informal fashion show of their latest collections.

Raffle prizes were generously donated from local businesses including River Hills Spa, Amor Interiors, A & G Lifestyle, JC Personal Training, Fisher & Woods, Looking Good Feeling Better, Posy, Noble Isle & many more.

Restaurant Manager Rachael Brown said of the event: “We had an amazing morning raising money for a very important charity to us. A lot of cake, coffee and fizz was enjoyed by all and we got to have a sneak peek at what Long Melford’s finest boutiques have to offer this season. We are very grateful to all the companies who supported our event and offered wonderful raffle prizes to help boost our fundraising; I can’t wait for next year!”
