Larking Gowen hosts charity golf event

Local Chartered Accountants, Larking Gowen, were hosts at a Crazy Golf Challenge this week, raising over £1,500 for Elmers Big Parade, the next big art trail organised by St Elizabeth Hospice.

The golf challenge, with teams from 18 local businesses, took place at Ufford Park Hotel in Woodbridge and was won by Ashtons Legal.

Becky Ames of Larking Gowen said; “As sponsors of Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk, we’re delighted to support St Elizabeth Hospice and all the amazing work they do.  There was plenty of friendly rivalry between the teams and some spectacular putts. I’d like to thank all the businesses for their generous support, especially Barker Gotelee Solicitors and Conatus Financing Solutions for providing the welcome drinks, and to congratulate the team from Ashtons Legal for a well-deserved win. They are now the proud holders of the 2018 Larking Gowen Crazy Golf Business Challenge trophy.”

Larking Gowen are part of a select group of companies who have pledged to fundraise for the hospice.  All of the money raised by the Crazy Golf Challenge will go towards Larking Gowen’s Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk fundraising tally, helping to raise vital funds to help the hospice improve life for people living with a progressive or terminal illness.
